Mrs. DeLozier was a bit worried when we were getting ready to sing "Do You Hear What I Hear?" If we would've been getting the words right at practices for the last month or so, she wouldn't have had to be worried. It went perfectly anyway. There weren't too many of last year's chorus members at the concert. I shouldn't be saying this, but I didn't see Mike there. That was kind of surprising! Unless he's not done with his first semester of college yet. I think James and Garrett were there. Josey was there. I didn't even recognize her when I walked in the door at 6:30. She got her hair cut since I saw her at last year's concert. Anyway. OMG! Tomorrow Mrs. DeLozier is going to be getting her gift! I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees it's Antonio Banderas. At least the girls were saying that's what her gift is going to be. This should be funny.
This afternoon in class, since we had nothing to do, we watched last night's performance. It looked SO NICE! Everything was PERFECT! Except a few things with the dance, that is. A couple of the girls were a bit off at times. Otherwise, it looked really good!
Anjelique, one of my newest friends, had a solo in Mixed Chorus, and she sang it REALLY well! Mixed Chorus sang most of the same songs we did. Of course, they usually do though.
I can't believe last night was the last Christmas concert the seniors ever got to perform in! WOW! How time flies! Pretty soon we'll be doing the Spring concert, and then it'll be time to practice for graduation!
I heard Nikko wasn't acting like he should've at the end of the concert. It was something like he had a t-shirt on under his dress clothes, so he took his dress shirt off and yelled something out into the crowd! He's getting a lecture tomorrow! HAHA! That's kinda bad though because he kinda ruined the concert by doing that. Oh well. His loss.
Overall, it was a nice concert, and I'm REALLY going to miss performing in them next year and all the years after.
